Cinematographer | Photographer 

Aaron is an Emmy Award-winning Director of Photography, renowned for his work in documentary filmmaking, television production, and music videos. He began his career focusing on scientific video, including high-speed and infrared photography. A long-time contributor to NM PBS and a proud member of the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG 600), Aaron has enhanced various productions with his story-driven photography and a deep love for light. As part of the Albuquerque photography team at Ponic Photography, he has also collaborated with talented wedding photographers. During his tenure as a Studio Supervisor, Aaron has trained many up-and-coming filmmakers and technicians in industry-standard tools and techniques, driven by his passion for helping others on their film journey.

Benjamin is a key member of our Albuquerque photography team at Ponic Photography, specializing in wedding photography and videography. He finds it amazing to capture intimate moments during the wild and hectic day of a wedding. Watching Rom-Coms with his sisters while growing up might explain why Ben enjoys documenting weddings so much! He studied Photojournalism at the University of New Mexico, where he covered numerous sporting events for the university paper. This background greatly influences his style, always ready to capture those crucial moments, whether it’s the groom’s reaction during the processional or the tears from parents as vows are exchanged.

Photographer 

Ana works as a second shooter with the Albuquerque photography team at Ponic Photography, capturing all the hidden details, and has also been stepping into a first shooter role to document the main events. She loves focusing on the details and candid moments that make each wedding unique. Ana believes she would not be where she is or doing what she loves without God leading her. He brought her to this beautiful company, and it is a blessing for her to work and learn from such talented wedding photographers.

Ella often serves as a 2nd or 3rd shooter with the Albuquerque photography team, Ponic Photography, where she enjoys being the preferred team helper. She’s frequently seen corralling extended family for group photos and occasionally gets to practice her shabby spanglish at bilingual weddings. During the week, she works as a Software Engineer at Sandia Labs, but she loves wedding photography on the weekends. Her preferred style focuses on capturing candids and unplanned moments with couples and their families between planned shots, when guests forget there’s a camera in the room. Last year, she celebrated her birthday in Sipapu for a destination wedding with the Ponic Photography team, where her favorite piece was a spectacular snapshot of the newlyweds in the rain under an umbrella at sunset.

Wedding Manager

Nikki has been helping plan and execute events since she was 12, which is over 20 years. She has always enjoyed assisting people in executing their events as planned and loves taking the stress of the day off their shoulders so they can be present and fully enjoy their special moments. Working seamlessly behind the scenes, she ensures every detail is taken care of without adding stress. From checking in with clients to coordinating with vendors, including the talented Albuquerque photography team like Ponic Photography, she keeps everyone on the same page to ensure that every event runs smoothly and effortlessly. Nikki has a rich home life full of beautiful chaos with partners, a cat, a dog, and a first child who was welcomed into the world last year. They keep her very busy and feeling blessed every day! In the limited time she has to spare, she likes to crochet or sew. Projects may not get done quickly, but as any crafter can tell you, it’s not about speed, but enjoying the journey!

Lizzie is a wedding photographer with a relaxed, conversation-based style that helps every client feel at ease in front of the camera, allowing their authentic selves to shine through. She loves capturing laughter, genuine smiles, and natural movement - those in-between moments that make your story unique. After several years collaborating with couples in Europe, she’s excited to begin her new chapter in New Mexico!

Madeline is thrilled to be one of the newest additions to the phenomenal Albuquerque photography team at Ponic Photography! She began her photography journey early in 2024 within the local Albuquerque music community, where she discovered her love for the art. Thriving in fast-paced, energetic environments, she will never miss a photo-worthy moment. With a keen eye for raw emotion and dynamic storytelling, Madeline brings weddings, live events, and special occasions to life through stunning, expressive imagery! Whether it's getting the family together for the perfect photo or capturing the intimate moments of a wedding day, she delivers powerful visuals that make memories last. Madeline can't wait to help capture your magical day!

Social Media Coordinator

Teena brings creativity, organization, and a passion for storytelling to the team’s online presence. After being a Ponic Photography bride herself in June 2025, Teena fell in love with the artistry and emotion captured through the company’s work and wanted to help share those moments with others.
Teena works closely with Elizabeth to plan content, write captions, create vendor spotlights, organize posts, manage engagement, and share behind-the-scenes moments across social media platforms. She especially enjoys working with graphics and creating engaging content that highlights the emotion, connection, and artistry behind each wedding and session. As a small business owner herself, Teena loves finding creative ways to connect with people through storytelling and visual content, while helping showcase the beautiful moments captured by the Ponic Photography team.

Photographer

Leo started back in 1997 doing photojournalism in Seattle, WA, then focused on climbing photography and some weddings during the film era. He is drawn to conflict and documentary photography. He has a certificate in Journalism and is currently an independent photojournalist based out of Santa Fe, NM. He shoots both film and digital, and still develops all of his black-and-white and color film at home.

Leo is an avid rock and ice climber. He enjoys whitewater kayaking, ultra running, and the occasional mountain bike race. He is also an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner practicing in Santa Fe, NM. Photography is a way for him to be mindful and to enjoy the happiness that comes with someone’s special day.

Asher is a photographer and videographer based in Albuquerque with a passion for capturing genuine personalities and joyful moments. Inspired by the emotional storytelling found in weddings, Asher specializes in creating authentic imagery that reflects each couple’s unique connection and experience.
In addition to photography and videography, Asher has a background in writing and directing short films that have been screened at multiple film festivals, bringing a cinematic and creative perspective to every project. Outside of work, Asher enjoys street photography, playing sports, and traveling, constantly seeking new experiences and inspiration through everyday life and different cultures.
